My disinterest in taking macro shots was pretty evident from the get go. Mostly I didn't think it was going to be challenging after we had spent so much time on our portrait and landscape assignments. Well yesterday was certainly a learning experience for me. Before this assignment I hadn't ever given much thought to light other than the exposure. Working with the studio lights really brought it home though. The pictures I chose were better than the others primarily because of the colors, which the light had a huge impact on.
