This Is Eliot
I have been having difficulty with trying to keep some of my aperture photos from being blurry. When ever my F stop is around 18 to 25 it seems like the shutter speed is being slowed and thats the reason I think for why some of my shots are blurry. Every time I switch to TV and change the shutter speed and then go back to AV at a high F stop the shutter speed still seems like it is still slowed. could you please tell me if I am just being dumb and I am missing or, is it something else. Thanks

Eliot,
ReplyDeleteThis is a good question, and I will do my best to work with you in class. It can be frustrating to learn these concepts if you do not have enough light. So, my first recommendation is go to where there is lots of light to work with. The gym is a good place, the science wing is another good place. For the aperture assignment having the camera on AV is the right setting for now. If you put your camera on Manual you would be able to set the aperture and the shutter speed, however, it may not be the correct exposure. Using the flash is one way to get enough light, however, that might skew the creative idea you have for the photo. I'll see you 5th hour and we can work together then. Thanks for putting your frustrations out there!
