Point of view-
From what I took from the notes on monday my understanding of point of view is that you are taking a photograph of the perspective of the viewer. Once you have found your focal point you ask your self how can I enhance it. But I still think that I am missing something although I believe I have the basic principal I just am having a difficult time.

  1. Almost. Point of view shows a certain perspective. If you pick a person there are many aspects to that person, so with different POVs we can see those aspects. It is not the direction the camera is taking, but the direction of the Artist or photographer, them self. What light they want you to see the subject in. Look at Lillian's example of her POV of a tree.

If you still are confused, check out what the Digital Photo School has to say about it.
