Photography Lecture at Museum

I think some of you may be interested in this:Photographer Strauss to give public lecture

The work of Philadelphia photographer Zoe Strauss combines a sense of humor with a sense of humanity, seen in pictures that startle and rivet and make you look again. Her work has won major awards and been featured in numerous high-profile shows in America and Europe.

Strauss is visiting Alaska this month as an artist-in-residence at the Anchorage Museum and International Gallery of Contemporary Art. She's been busy taking pictures of the 49th state (and we're a little nervous about what they'll reveal) but will take time out for a public lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday February 4th, at the Anchorage Museum, 121 W. Seventh Ave.
