...i took these pictures one in normal one in Black and White, these two photos are both very different although they are the same subject and the same view which do you guys like more?
Rebecca, These are both very nice. I think your choice in depth of field is very interesting. Very little of the photo is in focus which makes the viewer look hard at the photo. How are you enjoying your new camera?
I like the black and white photo more in my opinion because to me it makes the subjects stand out more, like the designs stand out more to me. But both are pretty nice, even though in the second photo I think the obkects are a little too shiney, but they're still nice pictures. =] ~Tia'Rashell
I like the color version more because it makes the subject look aged and the lighting really makes the color pop. I also like how well the subject matches the table it's on; it complements nicely.

*FOOD/MACRO - DUE FRIDAY 04/24 - Three food/macro shots, at least one from the in-class shoot. Make the food look beautiful!
*LANDSCAPE - DUE MONDAY 04/13 - 3 Landscape shots utilizing the techniques we learned about in lecture today. It may be three different landscapes; it does not have to be of one spot only.
*PORTRAIT - DUE FRIDAY 03/27 - Pick a subject (this time it must be a human) and shoot portraits of them employing the 20 techniques we discussed during lecture yesterday. You will turn in 3 professional quality shots.
*ISO - DUE THURSDAY 03/05 - ISO 5 photos taken on AV at f/5.6 of the same spot demonstrating the different ISOs.
*POV - DUE WEDNESDAY 2/25 - Point of View - 3 photos demonstrating how point of view/perspective can affect your subject. (You move! Remember the 6 ways to enhance your subject!) I'm giving you more time next week to complete this!
*FOV - DUE FRIDAY 02/20 - Field of View - 3 photos demonstrating field of view; same subject, 3 different fields of view. (You do not move, your camera does!)
*Mergers - DUE FRIDAY 02/20 - Have fun! Shoot 3 photos of mergers! 2 photos must be of the same subject (1 with a merger, 1 without), and the last photo is a fun merger shot! What to avoid!
*Rule of Thirds: 3 photos demonstrating three ways to use the rule of thirds for ONE SUBJECT. 1 photo of your choice - your favorite rule of thirds photo, not from a series. Due 02/04 at end of period.
*Blog - one blog due each week by Friday of that week.
