Though I have never really been in to black and white photos and I have never wanted to shoot in black and white, I have seen some very interesting photos today. Mr. Johnson showed a couple great shots that were in black and white like his daughter with the crayon in the sky. But for me I have always liked to see things in color, for me when I see in color it makes everything stand out more, seem more alive, more real, it doesn't really sell itself short. But when I see black and white most of the photos for me seem like they're being sold short, as if they were in color they would be better. But I will admit there are some amazing famous photos that are in black and white. So overall with Mr. Johnson coming in today and showing us some of his photos has gotten me to want to go out and shoot a couple black and white photos to see if I want to change my mind or not about what is better, color or no color. Probably though, for me I will always prefer color because to me it just seems to make things pop out more.
