I must admit that the portrait project is turning out to be more difficult than I had originally expected. I didn't have any trouble finding a subject and thought it would be relatively easy to shoot some cool pictures of her. However after taking some pictures and looking at the results they felt too "staged" or "forced" and didn't really show my subject's personality. I think that I need to capture a more candid side. So now I'm going to attempt following my subject around instead of making her pose and hope I get the results I want!
