Ah, I was SO excited to do portraits. I LOVE shooting people. To me, they are so amazingly complex and so dimensional. But, I didn't think it would be this hard to capture them. Yes, it is easy just to snap a photo of someone. But I want these portraits to just capture the essence of someone rather than just what they look like. To capture something that defines them or who they are. It's difficult. But, I keep thinking about all those tips and continue to be inspired. There are a lot of people doing some really cool stuff in photography and it help to look at their work. Anyway, here are some pictures I've taken over the past few days. Some are portrait...some just random. Let me know what you think!
