Portaits

So I'm finding that I have a lot of ideas for portraits and I love trying to figure out new ways to show something about a person and creating a mood in photos. But I've also noticed it sometimes looks super posed or too cliche. Another problem is setting. The school and my house isn't really suitable for photos because there's so much clutter in the background. It's sort of like "Why, hello merger." So I've been going outside and I've gotten some pretty good shots. The ones that turned out the best were the ones that happened by accident or when I took a photo when my subject was least expecting it. I'm finding that taking photos of humans is more challenging but definately more fun with endless possibilities.
