Rule of Thirds

The picture in the top. I didnt realize that I took it with rule of third. I think the picture looks more natural and also the cloud as negative space makes the object in focus. the second pictures, I took it during ski race in Bartlett, last Saturday. I tried to use rule of third, and this is what I got. What do u think? give me critique, please.

  1. I think you did really well on the pictures with the rule of thirds on both the pictures. I really like the second picture, the guy has such determination on his face, I think that is actually a good photo!

  2. That picture of the Washington Monument is such a classic example of the ROT. Isn't it weird how our natural human instincts are even transposed to art?

  3. I really like the skier Hanif!
I totally love that you take your camera with you everywhere - keep it up! I like how you portray the skier without being right in front of him, by utilizing the imaginary lines in the rule of thirds, and by capturing the feeling of the moment.
