Thoughts and Ruminations on the Rule of Thirds

Man, this is so much harder than it looks! I definitely have a new appreciation for photographers, especially consistently good ones. Maybe some day I'll get some really outstanding pictures, but for now I'm settling for just getting better. Which is a fun process anyway. I find myself dividing everything I see into thirds now, seeking out negative space, turning my head so that a certain object will seem to be in one corner or another. I look forward to the day it happens automatically in my photos as well!
